I'll be honest, if you had to pick any woods in the world to visit you probably wouldn't have gone "the Yakushima woods, mate!" - luckily for you, I'm going to take you there anyway. Via a wax melt.

What does Yakushima Woods smell like?

When I close my eyes as I sniff this wax melt, all I can see is a darkened, overgrown, overly mossy woods. Which is exactly what Yakushima is like!

For those wondering, Yakushima is an island off the south of Japan, known for its ancient forests, towering trees, moss-covered stones and almost otherworldly greenery.

This scent captures that feeling perfectly!

It has this earthy, green freshness mixed with cool pine, but don’t expect a sharp Christmas-tree type scent. It's not that. This is much deeper and warmer than that. Think damp forest floor, mossy bark, and shaded woodland paths.

There's a tiny whisper of menthol gives it that fresh woodland air without making it feel icy.

It’s earthy, mossy, woody and calming - you know... like stepping into an ancient forest!

Yakushima Woods Wax Melt Details

• Size: Our Teddy Pots are small sample-sized wax melts that should be around 15-17g and get you 20+ hours. Meanwhile the clamshells are around 85g and should last over 100 hours.
